What is NanoApps?

NanoApps is an independent studio building small, focused macOS utilities. Every app is built around one idea: a single tool you actually use every day, faster and quieter than the alternatives, without a subscription.

NanoClip is a Mac productivity app for clipboard history, smart snippets, iCloud sync, and automation flows — a one-time purchase alternative to Paste, Maccy, and TextExpander combined. Read the best Mac clipboard manager guide or compare NanoClip alternatives. NanoPad (coming soon) is a minimal markdown notes app that lives in your menu bar: folders, sticky notes, and themes, with iCloud sync and no AI in sight. NanoVoice is keyboard-first dictation: ⌃⌘W to dictate, ⌃⌘M for private meeting notes, Return to paste at your cursor, on-device Apple Speech on the free tier, and a one-time Lifetime license for Meeting Mode, Whisper, templates, themes, Ollama, and cloud BYOK.

They share a small framework (NanoKit) for keyboard-first interactions, theming, and floating panel windows — which is why they feel like siblings.

Local-first. No accounts. No data collection. No subscriptions. Native macOS apps that respect your machine and your time.
